Maggie Grace was born Margaret Grace Denig, September 21 in 1983. Maggie Grace is an American actress best known for her role as Shannon Rutherford in ABC TV show Lost. After her parents divorced, she relocated with her mother to Los Angeles. It was a struggle to survive and was offered her first acting role as Rachel's Room's leading character. In 2002, she was nominated for an Young Artist Award with her character as a 15 year old murder victim Martha Moxley. Grace appeared as Shannon Rutherford on the Lost television show in 2004. She was the main character for two seasons and won the Screen Actors Guild Award. Grace wanted to focus on film following her role as Tom Welling's character on The Fog, in 2005. In 2007, she was in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club and also, as the Liam Neeson character Kim Mills as Kim Mills in Taken. The actress reprised her character in Taken 2 (2011) and Taken 3 (2013).She also played Alice in Malice in Wonderland, a modern adaptation to Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Grace reprised her role as Shannon in Lost in the series, which included the conclusion. The actress was featured in 2013's six-season of Californication. The actress plays Faith an actress in a group and as her muse to the stars, who catches the interest of Hank Moody played by David Duchovny. Maggie Gyllenhaal.........................Margalit Ruth Gyllenhaal ( born November 16 1977) is an American actress and filmmaker. As a member of the Gyllenhaal family She is the daughter of filmmakers Stephen Gyllenhaal and Naomi Achs and the older sibling of actor Jake Gyllenhaal. She started her acting career in the teen years with minor parts in a few of his films. She also appeared with her brother in the cult favorite Donnie Darko (2001). Then she appeared as a character in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind and Mona Lisa Smile (both 2002). Gyllenhaal was nominated for the Golden Globe Award in both the romantic comedy Sherrybaby (2005) and in the love story Secretary (2002). The two films were critically acclaimed. The Dark Knight, which was released in 2008 after several highly successful films including World Trade Center (2006) which brought her greater recognition, was a huge success for Gyllenhaal. The year 2009 was the time she was recognized for the award of Best Supporting Actress at the Academy Awards for her portrayal of a single mom as she appeared in Crazy Heart. The following years, she starred in comedies as well as dramatic movies: Nanny McPhee & the Big Bang (2010) Hysteria 2011 and Won't Back Down 2012. Some of her other characters include as a secret agent for the Secret Service in White House Down 2013. She also appeared singing in Frank 2014 and also the role of a teacher in The Kindergarten Teacher 2018, where she portrays the lead character. Gyllenhaal's first film as a filmmaker and writer took place in 2021, with The Lost Daughter, a psycho-drama for which she received an award at the Venice International Film Festival Best Screenplay Award. She also won the Academy Award nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay.
