Rosalia
Rosalia Vila also known as Rosalia is a Spanish Pop/Flamenco performer. Involved in the margins of both traditional and popular music since her teens she has also delved into different music genres like the hip hop soul genre and trap. Pepe Haichuela, a flamenco guitar and well-known musician, has described the sound of the young singer as sassy and sweet but with bite. El Mal Querer, her sequel album to Los Angeles in 2017, was both a critical and commercial hit. The album topped Billboard's Latin Pop Albums Chart and was awarded a Grammy. The hit single La Fama featuring the Weeknd was released in 2021. Motomami is her third album was a collaboration with songwriting partners Cory Henry and James Blake. The album was released in 2022 as a result of an appearance on Saturday Night Live appearance by Rosalia, the vocalist of Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia was the first Spanish singer to sing solo in the program. In addition to winning three more Latin Grammy Awards for Motomami Rosalia was also the first woman to win this award twice. Latin Album of the Year twice.
